Anybody know if there is anything to the new white and red wrappers on these things? Is there something different about the cell/protection circuit, or just a facelift to make theirs stand out from all of the others that look just like each other?

I don't know the answer to your question but a big PLUS one kudos to them for making the positive end so clearly marked.
Probably to be different and potentially safer with a better polarity marking. I wonder if my replacement cell from pts will be of the new wrapper. Late last month i ordered a pair from pacific tactical solutions and one of them had a bad pcb. They could of also upgraded that too.
Yeah, I definitely like the well marked positive end better. With the black ones, I made my own label to better mark the positive and negative ends.
