Just received a brand new Fenix TK45 and need to confirm whether it is defective. Two of the three LED's have strong stobing action but one barely strobes at all. Is this normal? All replies greatly appreciated.

How easy/difficult is it to deal with Fenix directly regarding defective units? I purchased the item on Ebay and although the vendor is claiming to be an authorized dealer I'd like to know my options.

Dealing part is easy, the waiting part is hard. If your torch is still under warranty, drop them an email. They will respond most of the time.

It is under warranty -- brand new. Emailed them three days ago, no reply. Perhaps I'll have to call them in China. Hopefully, they'll have customer service people who speak English.

Received a second brand new TK45 and was very surprised that the same problem is noted. Two of the three LEDs show strong strobing action while the third barely strobes at all. Either something very wrong or this is by design.
