So, im looking into buying a new flashlight. Price from 20 to 35 dollars, i know a tight budget. I guess im a new guy to this, and i love flashlights. I would mainly use the flashlight for outdoor use. I would like a long battery life, and a compact flashlight..maybe 3 cells at the most. Cr123, AA, any batteries. I would like various output levels (low, med, high), but its ok without them. Any help at all would be great, you guys seem to know what your talking about, so i thought i'd come here. I already asked cutlerylover, if any of you know him, and he gave me some great flashlights. I just wanted to see if you guys have any more, for me to decide from.

Look at Target if you have one, they have some excellant budget lights. Its hard to beat an Inova X5 in that price range, its one of my favorite lights, as is the X01. I used both the X5 and the Magled Minimag on my recent hunting trip to good effect.
