new guy wants an Edgetac Nitecore

:broke: I checked out the site, and I like these lights a lot. great power with an AA battery. Is everyone happy with their purchase, or are you gonna make me look at others. I saw Malkrov (spell) and am looking for something for my SF G6.

I've got a Nitecore Defender Infinity which has been sitting in my right front pants pocket since the day I bought it. It's a great light. I have no regrets whatsoever about getting it. :thumbsup:

Of course, there are lots of other great AA lights out there as well. ;)

SF G6? Did you mean a Surefire G2 or a 6P? I've no first hand experience with the Malkoff drop-ins but I do know that they are spoken of very highly here at CPF. :grin2:

You can't put a high-powered LED module into an all-polymer made flashlight such as the SureFire G2. You're going to fry it.

You're better off with a new flashlight (whick you can get for the same price of a Malkoff semi-custom drop-in)

Check the EagleTac P10A2 -- world's brightest 2xAA light.

I love the Nitecore/Edgetac products. I have a D10, Nitecore Defender Infinity and recently a Nitecore Extreme. I have had no problems with any, other than a minor issue with the yellow button switches which was included with the NDI & Extreme -- this issue was resolved quickly by their excellent customer service. Also, I believe the switching issue has been resolved, they now ship with the new black button switches (I think, but I'm not sure on that one).

Either way, great products, great customer service.
