New LED flashlight

Greetings:

Flashlight fans might be interested to look at a new product that just came online this week. It's the Loc-Lite flexible shaft LED. It's at www.checkmatemarketing.com.

We are taking a bunch of Loc-Lites on a steelhead fishing expedition on the Dean River in British Columbia toward the end of the month. I will report back on how they do. We are going to catch BIG steelhead!

i've done some experimentation with locline and flashlights myself: e2e and the beanstalk

have you seen this stuff before? any comments on the similarity of design?

Almost surely it is a 5mm LED. It's running on three button cells.
