many thanks for so much info,,,and yes i am not realy with you
but i will get one of the Drop in from DX and than i will see
this one i will run first on a 12V 7AH Nimh bat, this canister i have still from old days
if this is cool ,OK

if not i was thinking to open the dropin
and use a 3a driver from Blue shark

i will see , know i am more up to see wher i get the li-ion from , and with one
the one i have from e-bay 4000mah BLA BLA BLA ,,i send back already and got the mony back
i was thinking you use may bay the lipofe4
4x this one gives more then 12v and a lot amps

i have to learn a lot , :confused:

I haven't used them but there's some info about them on the forum:

apparently they are not so good for high currents like XML's. I've also read some reports that they may leak, so I stick with the 2500mAh ones (DX sku 5790)

thanks for that infos about the 18650cells , this are probably not the best ones

another thing i have , is ,,,
i like to make a pack with the 18650
for the DX 3x Led XML and i can use max. 6 cells
i was thinking 3S2P
but what about weldind them toghether ,,,danger :sick2:
or do i need this ones with
the metalsrap welden on already
and wher i get them , with a lot of ah

For driving 3 x XM-L with two 18650 li-ion you can find a quality driver "senser xtreme" here: http://www.ledtreiber.de/
it is not the cheapest one but.....

Hello Stefan you could buy 3xm-l + reflector from led-tech.de, 1-4 mode driver from Der Wichtel(forum user) or 1 mode driver from some .de sites

hobbyking.com sells battery packs if you don't want to deal with the welding(of cells)
or you could buy brand cells from sites like tme.eu
