Hi all,
Hopefully one of you knowledgeable people can recommend me a suitable light as I have unfortunately gone and lost my Fenix L2d.
Having had a look around the forums I'm pretty confused and would appreciate some advice.
It will be used for searching vehicles, buildings & land but also close range when filling in paperwork etc.
Basically the absolute must-have's are as follows:
Powered by 2xAA's
At least 2 brightness modes (high & low) to use in different circs
Water/shock resistant (will be out in the rain etc)
Must have a clip so I don't lose it again!
A decent output in max mode, think my L2d was around 180 lumens.
Bonuses would be:
Strobe feature
3 or more brightness modes
Decent battery life
Yellow casing so it's easily found if dropped
Adjustable focus (are there any disadvantages to having this?)
I'm not looking to spend loads of money, in the region of £30 ($50) is my limit but the cheaper the better! (so long as it's reasonably good quality)
Thanks in advance for any advice, it's greatly appreciated.
