New Mag 3D build

I'm curious where to find some boards preferably multi mode that can run off 3 Ds and power an LED. I don't know really what type of LED I should be considering though or what kind of board (boost or buck :confused:). I want the mag to have generous throw and a useable amount of spill. I do want to stay with the 3D setup. With the mag light stock focussed tight the spot it tiny and useless. Im used to a Quark AA2 R5 which blows the stock mag out of the water and is like 10 times smaller. It would seem to me I could build a light powered by 3 D's that would be much brighter and have slightly less run times right?

This is probably more suited for the custom lights section but what one popular mod seems to be is the direct drive SSC P7 i actually have two of them!
