More of our $$$ subsidising private business. We keep electing candidates who promote corporate welfare at our expense. It's a good thing that social welfare has become taboo or there'd be no blood left in us turnips.

If what I am hearing in the news reports is true, I will be paying more, annually, for my prescriptions when this new plan goes into effect. That is if I consider the deductible ($250.00 annually) and this new monthly payment to Medicare ($420.00 annually). That new payment for drug coverage is in addition to the current monthly payment for Medicare. This is a disaster for those on Social Security and with limited assets. Congress should be ashamed of themselves.
