So, the superdream is at last to be retired, so I bought a new motorbike, a Lifan Prince LF125-A. This is a very smart bike, the ideal CPF machine as it is festooned with a triplet of headlights! I've caught the cruiser bug, taking life easily and comfortably!
The bike is very pillion friendly too, with running boards and a padded sissy bar!

Is it 2-stroke like the LF125A King? I haven't seen a 2-stroke in Canada for years. I don't think they pass current environmental laws. I never could get used to the blue smoke and ring-ding-ring, ring-ding-ding exhaust sound.

I had a Honda 160cc 4-stroke twin in the 1960s and loved it. Too bad the engine didn't hold up... I did push it a lot though.

The motorbike engine is a 4 stroke twin as used in the Honda Rebel. In its unrestricted form it is surprisingly quick! The 125 Superdream was the fastest 4 stroke 125 bike you could get, and being light it was highly manoevrable.
The Cruiser is a more relaxed affair, but with the same engine, detuned a bit.
