The Raw Al is identical to the Raw NS is Style & Size. The difference being the Raw Al is made from Aluminum. We have decided to produce just 100 of these so they will be some what LTD. This flashlight is very small and therefore an excellent addition to your EDC. The output however is not so small, it is significantly higher than that of even the larger D-cell conventional flashlights. The Raw Al is currently available with the following specification...

. Cree X-RE Q5 emitter with 160 lumen maximum output
. Two-stage reliable twist switch with 20 lumen low mode
. Custom Machined textured aluminum reflector
. High-quality mineral-glass lens
. Rear mounted lanyard attachment with tail-standing capability
. Option of 3 tritium locaters around the battery tube
. Runs on a 250mAh 14250 Li-ion cell providing 25 minutes on 'high' or 10 hours on 'low'
. Dunk-resistant due to the inclusion of O-rings between the head and body tube, and also between the mineral glass and body
. Modular design – PCB, reflector and mineral glass lens can be replaced by the user with care
. 45mm length x 18 mm diameter, 20 grams with Li-ion cell.
. Includes 1 x 14250 cell, magnetic spacers for charging 14250 cell in nano charger (Nano Charger Extra here) Lanyard loop.

Curses! That's most of this month's discretionary budget to Lummi. A Wee and a Raw....I can't wait to have my two new smallest lights.

The Camo Raw Al will be at least 4 weeks away. Also I do not now the costs yet. So I am not taking orders for those just yet thanks.

Rob, the only "tritium option" for the Raw Al is three? Just one is not available with this run?

You could just add one locator. The Raw Al will be milled with 3 slots. So you could fill 1 & be left with 2 empty slots. I have priced keen to encourage the customer who likes the locators to purchase all 3.
£60 covers the Raw Al with 3 H3's, Which is £1 less than the Raw NS with just one H3. & this is a small batch.

Thanks for the quick response Rob.

Stupid me already put the order in without the tritium option. My decision to go without tritium this time was simply because I´d prefer the light with one slot or none at all rather then three.

But since these will all be milled with three slots I just sent in another order just for the locators. I hope I´m not confusing anyone

When the move was made from the Luxeon emitters to the Cree emitters, Rob was able to elliminate the copper heatsink spacer, and use the McGizmo reflector itself as a heatsink, coupled to the front-end of the LED. If you have the copper heatsink in your Raw NS, you may need to order the new reflector for it to work. Email Rob to be absolutely sure.

The only one Rob is taking payment for at this time is the Raw AL, per his email I received. He told me that he is waiting till he has the final production costs. That is good business! Keeps the confusion to a minimum.

Patience grasshpper, when you can take the Wee from my hand you will have learned.
