This does make me wonder if the Nuwai Q3 could be modded with another Luxeon, and what sort...

Since I only know about the manufacturers lumen rating,
how much lumen would you estimate based on a comparison
with other flashlights?

Difficult for me to say exactly as I only have three lights with the Luxeon III LED, The other two are a VIP and a Super Flashlight 2, Hardly fair lights to compare the Nuwai with /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

But the Nuwai is similar output to the VIP on medium power if that helps. I bought three Nuwais and out of the three one is pure white as good as the VIP and the other two have a green tint that you don't see until you turn on the VIP or the Surefire L6 next to it.

I have a SureFire G2 and a E1- do you see any chance of comparing it? I am aware that the light spill of LEDs is different, but does it come near the G2? Thanks!

Sorry but I don't have a G2 or an E1. It's is brighter than all my 1Watt LED lights. Most LED lights don't throw too far but the Nuwai is pretty good considering it's small reflector.

I don't think that for the cost of the light you would be dissapointed with it.
