Great reviews Mark /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/happy14.gif and nice crystal clear pics /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I don't know about the higher voltage. As I am not sure what sort of Boost/Buck circuit is used. It certainly does not mention using anything other than CR123's in the instructions. I don't think I would risk it!

Nice review, can it take rechargeable 123 4.2V? T3 cannot take pila's, that's for sure.

I'm glad you mentioned that, I was fixing to order a 168S for my XO3. Why won't a Pila work w/ it?

The T1 is a great value light, but the beam is funky and requires 123 batteries. My new Sl jr lux is noticeably brighter and has a more even beam. The t1 is a more solid light, and great in use, just not perfect yet.

The batterytube is not wide enough for the 168S. There are reports from Lunartic that it will fit if you peel off the first label of 168S. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif But if it get stuck, you're stuck with a 70 dollar light with a 25 dollar battery. Good luck and be careful.
