These new night fighter tactical lights may give surefire some competition, all aluminum xenon based lights with led options for some. I'm giving a link to these zenon based lights, you can ignore the led ones listed on the same page so this thread won't be removed from this forum. Check out the 2 and 3 3v lithium based lights, they will be coming out in june. There was so much traffic on their site that they actually removed the link from their main page.

Wow, there's some impressive specs on those... particularly the TL-2 and TL-3. Thanks for posting that... it'll be interesting to see them in June/July -- by then, I will have built up my budget for more light. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I'm psyched! cool, cool!, and OD green anodize available too!! gotta get a couple if only for posterity. Just don't tell my wallet, I want it to be a surprise!!! My expectations aren't astronomical it would just be nice to have a decent (read as "cheaper") alternative to SF. I like my Pelican M6 but it's a little too heavy and no clip or lanyard.

tsg, i'm psyched about the OD too! my favorite color.

glas lens, 100/175 lumens! pocket clip! looks good, i wonder what the prices are going to look like.

the night fighter just looks like the 2 cell with a rugger ring. i remember seeing a pic a while back.

I knew at least somebody would be psyched, better flashlights = more competition = better technology = better prices = price wars.

Prices are not too bad. About $54.00 for the two cell xenon version. About $70.00 for the 2 cell Luxeon.

For the three cell: About $70.00 for the Xenon, and $120.00 for the Luxeon.

Scheduled for a June release...

I am absolutely craving the 3 cell 5W Luxeon version, but I'm new to lights and this forum. How does one keep up with when it's availalble/where to buy...?

I have to get the TL-2 and TL-3. Probably will eventually get the Xenon and LED versions but the LED versions first. Like everyone else I want that 5-watter.
