I've only just gotten my new Ti PD-S and it has already become my new favourite. I was very hesitant to toss it into my pocket where it would bounce around with coins and keys all day.
But my Sapphire has been doing fine on my keychain and the scratches are barely noticeable.

It quickly worked itself into my pocket and has been there ever since.

Quick pocket dump -

Anyone notice the cool movie reference item?

Perfect companion with my XM-18, both Ti and both are awesome.

Yep it has 6 flutes. Does that make it special?

It's really easy to get knives into Australia - import is really open to anything. Just don't try and import illegal stuff - balisongs, switchblades, daggers, etc.
I've been getting knives from the states for the past 2-3 years. Both folders and fixed blades.
Should be even easier if you are in Queensland. You guys allow slingshots.

I took the risk of buying a Spyderco last year and half expected ASIO blokes to knock on the door but the parcel managed to make it through customs with a little "inspected" slip of paper. I didn't know a flipper could make it through so easily.

hahaha - exactly the same feeling with my first purchase.
Flippers are fine. Even got a SOG Trident through - as the prohibited weapons list only categorises switchblades as knives that open with a switch or button.
But sometimes you get unlucky. Never hurts to ask the dealer or seller to tighten the pivot - too many stories where the interpretation of 'flick knives' is twisted to fit the knife in question.

Very nice EDC, all of it.

Also nice to see yet another Aussie who owns a McGizmo, they really are amazing.

Nice to see you here, Nick!!

Sweet dump. Very similar to what I carry, except I don't carry my XM too often.

That's so re-assuring to hear !! I have a 3.5" XM non-flip en route to me as we speak. Fingers crossed !

Christ almighty do I want one of those PDs. I just don't want to pay $750 on the MP for one.. :shakehead

Managed to score one for a lot less than that - practically mint as well!

Just have to keep looking! I managed to score both the XM-18 and PD for decent prices, patience and perseverance pays well. And of course a little luck never hurts!

nick-nack, you did well. Your PD-S looks awesome and that is some nice EDC gear you have there

I'm not a knife guy but that XM-18 looks like a perfect companion to your Ti PD-S. Congrats!

Your xm18 is perfect with it.

That sure is a cool reference to inception, I really liked that movie. where did you get it from? I saw one on deal extreme
