Newbie asking what is a luxeon?

Correct me if I am wrong--
Luxeon is a newly developed LED, produced by Lumileds.
There are three types that you will see often on CPF--
Lux I(~25 lumens), Lux III(~60-80lumens), Lux V(up to 120 lumens).

There are 68 lumens in a quantumradical, but due to signwave compression, it only outputs 6 luxeons per unit
