I'm trying to charge 4 Sanyo AA 2700s using the BC-900U charger. The first 2 bays showed the batteries full with 1149maH & 1150, the other batts continue currently showing 1349 & 1350. The booklet indicates this display represents accumulative mah so I am confused why it is showing full with the batts at 1149/50.
The batteries were purchased as a 4 pack and is the first time to be charged. If someone could explain (simple terms) I would appreciate it.
Thanks.

This is not entirely unusual. New batteries sometimes experience what is called "false termination", where the charger stops charging them too soon because it thinks they are fully charged. After a few charge cycles this tends to go away and the batteries start behaving themselves. Just let the batteries rest for a bit and then put them back on charge.

What charge current are you using? Try to avoid using the 200 mA minimum and select a higher current such as 700 mA. This can help the charger determine the right time to stop charging.

Thank you Mr. Happy! Actually since I am so new at this I went with the default of 200 mA. I'll try later with the higher current Again thanks for taking the time to reply to a newbie question.
