Hi All, I am submitting my first post as a newbie.
I have just joined the world of Flashlights Anoneemouse!
Recently purchased an Arc LSH-S from Supremeco. Arrived with two cracks in Lexan lens. Kevin from Supremco said to return it to them and they will send a new one as replacement.
Is that service, or what?!

That's a bummer having to wait again for the replacement. Will they cover the return shipping as well?

BTW, welcome to CPF! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Sounds good, most dealers never cover return shipping
I have ever come across three in my life who have.

Dandrop,
Kevin said I should pay for shipping back to them, he will pay for the shipping back to me. Not much I can do about my share of costs, I just want a "close to perfect" light!
I just had discovered CPF, when I read about ARC diving deep. I am still happy with the product, and as Koala explained to me before I joined CPF, the lenses do crack with shock and sometimes due to the machining of the wall tolerances of the LS. He sent me a long e-mail as to how to fix it, but I thought I would try Supremeco first to see their response.

I will post again when I get the replacment.
Thanks for your thoughts,
Stuart

Welcome to CPF Zackterty, the most illuminating forum going. Your choice of "first" lights is an excellent choice. It's a shame Arc folded, they had a very devout following here, Arc tried to offer a quality light that was a benchmark for everybody else making flashlights.

Hey Stuart,
Does yours look like this?!!

Crack Lexan

Oh btw, welcome /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif don't get too involved, you'll empty your wallet(s). /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Hi Vince, I've just sent you an e-mail. No, my lens looks much worse, two solid cracks from edge to edge. If I could find way to put a photo here, I would. Any Ideas?
Stuart

Hi Stuart,

I've heard a lot of good things from supremco and i wouldn't hesitate to order from them.

As Koala said, your wallet will take a beating if you don't control your flashlight spending spree! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Thats why I make knives. I sell the knives to pay for light. I use the light to search for knife making materials. I make the knives. I sell the knives /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif. I buy more lights etc etc... you get the idea!
CPF has created a monster in me.. not that I'm complaining!

Welcome Zackerty!
CPF is great!, Loads of good info., and great deals too!
(hide your plastic! I'm in trouble already! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif)

Just to close on my opening comments about Supremeco. They have run out of Arc Lsh-S's! I stopped my wife just in time, from shipping my cracked lens LSH-S off to Supremeco. They had offered to replace mine, but now cannot, I guess.
Looks like I'll have to open it up and change the lens now. Koala has given me instructions, already.

Thanx for your welcome, guys. I'm sure gonna stay more than just a while!
Stu
