Greetings all.
I have been a long time lurker at CPF.I have gotten a wealth of info over the last months on batteries, lights, chargers etc.Lots of good reading and awesome reviws.
I finally decided to register and hang out here as the knife and watch forums have been bleeding my credit card dry.I thought coming here would help curb the spending addiction i have apparently developed.
Man was i wrong about that.
I have been looking for new light to pair with a fenix P2D i carry around. After reading selfbuilts review a couple of nights ago i ordered an Olight M20.Last night i started to skim through some of his other reviews and before i knew it i had ordered the Jetbeam III M.
Both are enroute as i type.Hopefully they will arrive before i read some more reviews and cave in again.

Welcome to CPF, STEELHOG. Glad you decided to formally join us. You're right. This is not the place to save money.

Welcome to CPF , Even though this may not be the place to save money at least it spent on something fun.

:welcome:

i know exactly what you mean, i've just ordered some budget lights off DX to see if they can make it as gifts to co-workers/friends and i just pulled the trigger on a Fenix TK20 (wanted the color rendition of an incand light with the runtime of an LED).

by the way, take a look at the TK20, its a 2xAA, 2 mode tank of a light, check out the beamshots of the TK20 and best part its now going for $48.90 at 4sevens after using "CPF8" discount code.

We have a lot in common. Knives and watches have always been a fascination of mine. Once i purchased my first quality LED light there was no looking back.

I think people who love quality items end up having a fascination with more than one type of product. ie..watches, cameras, pens, flashlights, guns, knives...............................................................

Welcome to CPF.

Another great hobby to get into is RC's......i can spend my whole paycheck on upgrades, servos, and batts.......a good way to empty the wallet.

Already there brother.I picked up phoenix and the airtronics SD-10G a few weeks ago so i can learn to fly heli's.My Father builds scale heli's so i thought i would give it a go.
Buying flashlights is chicken feed compared to RC,thats for sure.

I havent dealt with heli's and dont plan on it......just too expensive for me to go that route and the controls would confuse the hell out of me. I deal mostly with onroad.....used to race as well but since the little one takes most of my time when i have free time lights well do for now.....Hey if you can post up some pics and i will post some of mine up as well.

Welcome to CPF!

Enjoy your stay here!

Also, avoid the customs pages if you want to keep some money in your wallet.

And so my new addiction begins.....(I have had the fenix brothers for a couple of years).I also pulled the trigger on a Quark AA,couldn't resist :D.
I haven't had much time to try them out as yet but at first impressions i have to say the Jetbeam is freakin awesome!

alfreddajero, are those 1:10 or 1:18? Looks identical to the "modded beyond driveability" HPI Micro RS4 I have (the one on the right does anyway)!

Welcome STEELHOG, I'm new too. These people here are almost too well-informed when it comes to lights/torches.
