Thinking about getting one of the Nightcutters line of lights. They advertise a run-time of around 40-48hrs with 2x123 batts. depending on the number of led's for that particular light. Anyone with favorable or otherwise experience with them? Thanks.

Mine should be here any day and I will let you know. My daughter ordered the 5C for me for father’s day. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I really liked the stated size and runtime. The company is also great on emails. I received a response within a few hour. The blue bodies will be available in a couple of months.

Hornet,

Really looking foward to your opinion of the 5C, which is the one I've been looking at too. Wonder how many hours at full power before light starts to dim? Guess I'll have to wait for your review (if I can).

Lately I have been getting so many new toys that my Nightcutters have been getting neglected a little. But the 3C and the 5C are still two of my favorites. For the money, I believe they are excellent little lights. The output is very comparable to an Inova X5 in a much smaller and pocketable package.

I'm waiting for the 5PC+ to be available- should be an interesting light!

I agree with Peter Atwood. The NightCutter 3C and 5C are excellent lights for the money. They are also the smallest 2-cell CR123A LED flashlights on the market.
