Do NiMH "N" cell batteries exist? If so, what is their highest Mah rating and where can you see them on the Net?

Greetings,

Velcro-those Rad.Shack 360 mAh cells should be avail. on their website. Try cat.#23-521

Just added: Nope!-but I sent them an inquiry about it.
Maybe one of us in the U.S. could help get 'ya those...

Well, I am using NiMH N size batteries, aka 2/3 AAA batteries. I found them at a clearance bin at Walmart. It was a cordless telephone pack (Northwestern Bell Phone Model 32880) with 3 of these dudes in a square for $1, normally $10. The capacity is 270 mAH and I use three of them in a 2AAA penlight to drive 3 Nichia 8000 mcd 5 mm white leds. Best penlight in the whole hospital, by far

Now all I need is a dedicated battery charger as charging them ties up my precision power supply charging at 4.2000 volts

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">Nice buy there, but 2/3 AAA are definitely not "N" cells. I use both kinds. That 2/3 AAA (noticeably skinnier than the "N" cell, but about the same length), is a super handy size.

Thanks for the tip on where to bag those versatile little squirts!
Capacities:
2/3-AAA (NimH)=270mAh
"N" cell (NimH)=360mAh
