Nite GlowRing = fragile ?

I had a blue Nite Glowring for about 2 months on my keychain and the tube inside is now cracked. It still glows but very dim.

Is this common ? Anyone else had problem or is this an isolated case ?

May sound strange but was it blue ? I own 2 green and even if they have seen a lot of action they are still in good shape. The blue one has not been beaten and it cracked :(

The 1 that broke inside the casing was green and the 1 that fell out was pink.

Well, same to me but just about to three months.

I suppose "it" was ratting too much... when the entire keys+chain fall down on the concert floor.

fyi, the tritium gas is being encased by a glass (fragile) tude.:oops:

so, dun drop it/bang it/etc too hard or the glass tude inside the polycarbonate outer casing will crack ........ :sssh:
