I bought one of those Nite-Ize three LED drop-in modules with the clicky tail cap and put it on my Mini-MagLite.

Things were great until one day I pulled the light out of my jacket pocket and it was turned on. I'm not sure how many hours it was turned on but I really hated that it was on to begin with so I came up with this idea to make it a lot more difficult to accidentally turn it on.

My original plan was to make a tactical-style collar with cut-outs to make it anti-roll but I took off too much aluminum and just made a simple collar. I was thinking of anodizing it or something but it's not bad the way it is.

Yes, it tail stands.

The next one I make will be more tactical in appearance.

Thanks! The hole for the clicky button was cut just big enough for the button to go through so no more loose, rattling button.

The way it is now I press the button until it is flush with the shroud and it is a momentary switch. Press it in harder and it clicks on. When it is clicked on the top of the button is almost flush with the shroud, sitting just a hair above it.

Completely forgot to give credit where credit is due! I got my inspiration for this from this thread.

Welp, made another one. This time it was done a little more aggressively. Hope it doesn't tear my pockets up. If so I'll remove the crenelations. This is the way I envisioned the first one to begin with but that's what happens when I sit in front of the mill without so much as a sketch to work off of. Heck, I did this one without so much as a sketch, too

It's the same Mini-Mag as the previous pictures.
