Nite-Ize upgrade for MagLite 6D

Hi All:
I am looking to make a simple led upgrade for my 6D Maglite. It appears that the Nite-Ize 3-6 cell replacement bulb is a cost-effective choice. Is it safe to use this bulb in my 6D? Some research I am doing indicates that using it will void my Maglite warranty so this made me a bit skeptical.

I'm not 100% on this but I don't think there's much you can damage by changing the bulb, other than the bulb itself if it can't take the power.

Have you considered the Terralux LED drop-ins though? They're fairly cheap and quite good!

I have never had a good experience with Nite Ize upgrades - try the Terralux.

A TerraLux TLE-6EX will be much more satisfying.

I agree, the Nite Ize is low power and not really worth the money unless you just want more battery life.
