Nitecore extreme rechargeable malfunction

Yes I read the other threads and see no answer for this.

I got the nc extreme and all was well with 123 primaries. I bought some AW 123's and charged em up. I inserted them in the nc extreme and clicked the button, nothing. I loosened the head and it came on mid level. I cant get high, I can get low, I cant get strobe, I cant tighten the head and have it still work. Works fine with surefire primaries. Wont work with aw123 rechargeable.

What gives?

I just couldnt figure out how. I finally did. Thanks.

I just replaced the clicky and now its working great with the aw123. Go figure?

I guess I will email them and tell them it shipped with a bad clicky.

I have a similar probelm with my NEX. Mine doesn't work with RCR's at all.
What did you replace the clickie with?
