Does anybody know if any of the cheaper batteries work with the Nitecore MH20GT such as these

When I 1st bought the torch most of my 18650's wouldn't work, I spoke with the shop and they said they need one with a "more pronounced" button than quite a few have.

I bought a Nitecore one at the time but they're quite expensive and I don't use the torch that much, as it's just sat unused it's drained and killed the battery so I don't want to keep doing that with premium brand priced ones.

At the moment I'm using on from another torch with a small Neodymium on the top and it works but I need it to go back in the other torch.

Any pointers appreciated.

Any button top 18650 should work. I've used numerous ones in mine from Samsung, LG, Vapcell, Sony, even ones recovered from an old Dewalt battery pack.

Yeah, button-top should work. Basically, look for an 18650 with a nipple on the battery. If you want inexpensive ones, check out the ones labeled Sofirn.
