has the NDI been updated to allow for a REAL tailstand? or will a new one still have the rubber button protrude?

its marketed as a tactical light, and without going into too much detail or arguement, tacticals light tend to have potruding switches.

you can and a washer behind the tail boot though, that would sink the Tail boot in a bit, and allow it to tailstand

I put a lanyard on my NDI and with a little bit of careful balancing I can tailstand on top of the lanyard.

I had some boots from a Lumapower Connexion X2 I purchased which looked like the same size so I tried to do a swap. It's the same diameter but not quite as long. It won't tailstand when the light is turned off but when the clicky is turned on it tailstands very steady.
