Am I the only one that wants to buy a nitecore light based soley on their logo image?

Has an old school soviet union feel to me that I dig.

I don't know, but they do seem to make a good quality product. I do have to admit, tho, I do dig some of the old Soviet era stuff. Pretty cool looking, and usually very durable.

Their logo always reminds me of the video game, Freedom Fighters.

HAH..im the marketing peoples nightmare. i dont watch commercials i dont remember logos and other stuff.. i buy by someones reference or by looks and feel.

odd that....... until now....... i had not realized that they had a logo. i have to admit that i like their lights better than their logo.
it does have a marxist quality to it. kinda prolotarian symbolism. almost pedestrian.
i like their lights better than the logo b/c they are definately not prolotarian.

After Surefire Nitecore is my all time favorite flashlight company. Their NDI is still one of my favorite flashlights and the reason why I no longer buy Fenix flashlights.
I gave my NDI to my wife and recently sort of took it back to use it at work. My wife has grumbled a bit and I know that she is masterminding a way to get it back.

I remember seeing their logo for the first time and thinking "damn communitsts... how come they get all the cool logos?"
NDI is still in my top three favorite lights.
