Ordered an Ultrafire WF501B 2-cell flashlight off DX. It calls for either 1-18650 or 2-CR123A batteries.
I figured I was being smart to order a pair of rechargeable 123's, since some posters had mentioned the light wasn't as bright with an 18650. On top of thet, the relatively short battery life suggested rechargeables might be the ticket.
So I stumbled on a thread here about rechargeables not being totally interchangeable with primaries.
. The confusing thing is that on DX, the rechargeable 123A's and the on-rechargeable 123A's both carry the same designation (16340).
So, my dilemma is this - is it okay to use the rechargeables with the light or not? Don't want any kabooms!
