Nuwai ALX-352L circuit with R123\'s?
I have been running Battery Statiion and Battery Space RCR123's in my five watt ALX-352L and notice that the draw from batterys (2) measured at tailcap is about 1.2amps with Battery Station, and 1.40amps with Battery Space R123's, both off charger for a few hours. Question, am I overdriving the ALX-353L circuit (boost?). Measured light output is considerably higher with Battery Space cells, and both brands of R123's are probably putting out more light than two primary 123's. Is the entire 1.4 volts going to the led, or is circuit still managing voltage/current. I weould be concerned if more than one amp with going to the led.
