Just a quick one I have 2 Fenix LD 20 torches (I am in the UK) I use on my bike which are great. While I can find lots of info on what lube to use or not use on what O Ring material, how do you find out what they are made of.

I have always used petroleum jelly on my old Maglights which never bothered them and is readily available if not recommended is this o.k. to use on the Fenix threads until I can get hold of something more suitable?

I also have an ITP A3 EOS upgrade (titanium) on order for my birthday will petroleum jelluy be ok on this until I can get something better?

I would not use a petroleum based product, use a good quality silicone grease ,if you have a shop near you that sells air rifles, they sell a special little pot of a lubricant for o ring seals on co2 weapons, works a treat on lights,it is red in colour and lubricates the seal and threads. There is a big thread on here all about lubricating, just put it in the search box and it will come up.The red lube oil is available in nearly all UK gun shops.
