CPF users, new to the forum here but recently joined the job and purchased an M30. Have to say very happy so far - re the tail cap I was unsure this was going to go - given the M30 does not ship with a standard pouch however I located a supplier who stocks the 'Tassie Tiger - heavy duty holster made for the M30 - works well.

As a side note - I looked at the M1X - but for size and comfort for carrying 700 lumens then the M30 was a nice choice.

I've been told inserting the battery tube the wrong way will short out the M30 tail cap in a flash.

Hey Matt, is there any other tailcap that works on the M30 that does not have the side switch? Perhaps from the M20? Multiple modes isn't a high priority for me and the peace of kind for higher water resistance would be worth losing those modes to me.

Hi Carrot - No, no plans for a fourth tailcap style that I am aware of...

I think so but I'm not sure how it affects UI, etc.
