Olight S1R Baton II Turbo Mode Doesn't Work

Hey all.
Had this little thing for about a year and it's been great.
Recently, when I double click to put it into Turbo Mode, it'll only go into Turbo for less than a second and then immediately step down to high.
Could the battery already not be holding enough of a charge to access Turbo Mode?
I've already contacted Olight but I wanted to see if this is a common problem.

Hey there,

I did have the proprietary battery fail in one of my S1R Baton IIs, and it behaved just as you described. I bought a couple of replacements, and it resumed normal operation.

What you describe will also happen if you run this torch on a CR123.

But Olight had me send it back to them.

I mailed it out to them on 27 Dec.
They asked for the tracking # so I also sent them that.
Yesterday, 30 Dec, I had a brand new in box S1R Baton II.
They must've sent it out as soon as I sent them the tracking #.
They told me it was unrepairable (obviously without seeing it)
I guess it's less expensive for them to just replace it than diagnosing and trying to fix it.
Now that's customer service!
