It has been about a month now...since I ordered the Panasonic primary 123 they are on backorder...shall I get the Duracelll instead...they offer them for the same price....what you guys think ?

Chris

sure, just check the "best by" date, I think current lots are up to 2017. Most of them are made by panasonic anyway.

You should get SureFire, Streamlight, Duracell, Rayovac or Energizer instead. They are all the same and rebranded Panasonic!

See this runtime graph from chevrofreak on the Fenix P1 between the SF, Rayovac and Panasonic, they all have the same shape:

I don't know about prices or if you can cancel your order, but fenix-store.com should have the panasonics in stock (I received some last week).

Doubt if another endorsement is necessary but I've used Duracel and always been happy with them.

Silverfox recommends Duracell for "life or death" lights. I trust his advice in this arena.

Generally haven't had a problem with Duracell CR123s. But the last pair in my P3D Q5 ran down in only a few days of occasional use. Rather odd. But only happened once.
