Opinions on Nitecore mt40?

im about to get a new light which is a Nitecore MT40. Any opinions about this light or reviews? is this a good thrower?

still havent bought your light yet? :) The nitecore MT40 is a moderate thrower at 33k lux. There are several out there that can throw better, like the Crelant 7G5CS and the Olight M3X, and the Olight SR95, Fenix TK41, Fenix TK70, to name a few.

do have a couple of lights already and thanks for your big help sir!=) ofcourse you cant be contented with only two!haha cos theres someone here who is selling this nitecore MT40 at a reasonable price and i like it. maybe you know who that seller is?:naughty:

I am looking for a 2x 18650 light, and this is one of the candidates. But I am leaning towards the Fenix E50 because the E50 has the added flexibility to run on 1x 18650, comes in neutral white and has a lower low of 23 lumen (MT40 low is 100 lumen).

yea but the mt40 has twice the lux as the e50

Check out the TN11, it too can run on 1x18650 and 2x18650 when needed.

I would have recommended the Crelant 7G5V2 but this has been phased out already. (runs on one or two 18650's)
