I find myself a bit overloaded in primary Lithiums right now, and would like to know the optimum temperature for storage so they lose less capacity. Refrigerator ? freezer ? any concerns with humidity. The place I live in has room temperatures of around 80F-a bit too warm.

Put them in small individual ziplock bags (these are cheap - 1000 for about $10, ie 1 cent each or even less) and then store them cold but NOT frozen. Veg/salad drawer of the refrigerator (about 5degC) is good.

I recommend ziplocks because this eliminates humidity/condensation problems, but when you take the batteries out of the fridge to use them, let them warm to ambient/room temp before opening the bag or you will get condensation on them and this is just as bad as high temperature, if not worse.

Asked and answered a few times before.

Try Google, there is some good storage info there, somewhere.
