This will be the last time we offer this Original Orb with improvements.
Improvements include:
20mm McR as in Dons PD.
Rechargeable, 1 Protected 18500, 1500mAh 3.7 Volt Li-ion.
Optional Tritium Locator's Milled into body around the circumference.
We may offer up to 10 Vials around the diameter???
UWOJ Bin for 40 of these @ £6 extra, Thanks to Photonfanatic.
In the mean time I am looking at a protective finish & some other options.
Original details can be found here: http://www.theorb.co.uk/theorb.php
The base price needs to be finalized but will be near to £49.95. $93.00.
I'll add any changes/updates to this post.
If this goes ahead with the Cree XR-E and the other specs listed above I would be interested in one with three green Trits. A protective coating is a must for me, I don't want a shelf queen. I have a few 18500s that need a home. What would the price be with the XR-E?orb said:Not surethe next few weeks & any interest will decide it.
With out any question, if they go ahead they will be with the XR-E.
Lux III what are they???Geologist said:any info on possible newer emitters than the Lux III (Seoul?)?

So far XR-E or the Seoul P4. I prefer the Cree in the Raw Series with the small Dia Reflector's. But the Orb will have a larger Reflector so the Seoul should work well also.
I am ALL over that. :thumbsup:orb said:Fairly sure a final 100 of these will go ahead April - May. Still things to be decided. I'll post specs & photo's when available.
:thanks:
