Ordered KL1 today (a bit long)

I looked at this forum to find out where to buy a KL1 and Gene said he got it from CountyComm. So I called and luckily they had one in stock. I ordered it and had it shipped overnight, I will have it tomorrow. They said something about it being the new version (A01507) that you can't put the batteries in upside down? I am not sure, hope it is the 2nd generation one. How will I be able to tell? I think I will use it on my E1e, not the E2e. Are they going to make one for the M6? Wonder how that would be?

The KL2 (19 5mm LEDs) fit's on the M6 & the M3. but why bother. It only runs 1.5 hours at full brightness. Still, you can do it.

Glad you got the last KL1. My batch number was AO1667. Maybe Surefire's upgraded them AGAIN to where you CAN'T put the battery in backwards. Surefire cautions against putting the battery in negative side up because the LED is sensitive to reverse polarity and could blow.

I just got my E2e and KL1....
Love it so far... Bright white with some blueish\uv in hot spot at 4',by no means bad.
Almost no green at all on edges. Nice light to work with.

My KL1 batch number is A01279
Can someone tell me what version\history that is?
