Ordered Photon Freedom Micro - White beam. good keychain light?

What a mixed bag of responses..... I really like the Photon Freedom. Own several, one endured a wash and dry cycle and still works. Another spent a summer season in sweat soaked shorts in south Louisiana. For the price and utility, I have not found anything as tiny and practical as the Photon Freedom. I hope you enjoy your new light.

my little ladies key chain, mom & dads keys chains, and they all wonder how
they ever did without it !

I edc one along with my arc aaa, when my arc goes dead I always have my Photon as a backup..

Without diminishing my positive comments on the Freedom, it is true that it does have some drawbacks. For it's size it can't be beat, but if you can tolerate a light that is about twice as thick, then I would second Monocrom's suggestion of the aluminum Streamlight Nanolight which has a tubular form factor. That one addresses most/all of the drawbacks discussed above.

But if you want it to be as small as possible in the pocket, the flat form factor of the Photon is hard to beat.
