Here it is, finally complete. It was almost finished for a few months, but I was not satisfied until I added a narrow beam reflector from mac. I don't know where he got it- I couldn't find one anywhere. The best I could find was an optic from cutter, and it was more like a diffuser in my opinion.
Host: fivemega 1D nickel plated
Lens: plain glass until I buy more ucls
power: 4 protected lithium 14500's in series
heatsink: modified H22a bare aluminum
Driver: Maxflex V2
LED: Ostar LE W E3B
Glowring: aquarium hose filled with super green glowpowder
reflector: narrow beam op from Mac!
This light is my favorite!

That looks really nice dude.
As hard as I try I can't see a seam in your glowring, excellent job.
That is one soft smooth spot, wonder where he got those narrow reflectors?.

Thanks for the ring idea doc. Runtime is hard to say. I would guess about 45 minutes on high.
 
I love the glowring, reminds me of the angel eyes headlights on the BMWs. Nice light and great form factor!
