I was trying to find a way to get my Surefire Z2 with P61 6V lamp to run off 2 CR123A batteries (3.6v & 800mAh).
I have already been through 2 P61's and dont want to spend any more money on bulbs untill I have some sort of solution. Is there a factory bulb I can buy that can handle the 3.6V? Mainly I was trying to get a brighter, rechargable flashlight without buying Surefires recharge kit and loosing my tactical grip.

A P90 or equivalent (Wolf eyes, etc.) 9V bulb should work fine with the right batteries. You may have to double click for activation with some bulb/battery combos.

Another option is AW's 3.7V bulb and one 17670 battery. That's what I have in my Z2 and it works great.

Good luck!

IIRC Lighthound.com has some. Also search here for the Lumens Factory thread and check their web site at lumensfactory.com for product info.
