P60L Regulation

Quick question...

Does anyone know at what battery voltage the P60L will drop out of regulation?

That depends on the vf of the individual LED in a given P60L. I will venture a guess. The P60L is not driven hard so vf is maybe 3.4 volts. Add in .2 volt for circuit, so P60L might start dropping out of regulation at about 3.6 volts, maybe a little more. This considering that the P60L has an efficient regulator. You could run a 17670 LiIon for awhile in regulation, depending on the LiIon's voltage under load. This is a very simplistic answer.
