Just finished this build for my buddy that painted my son's BMX bike.
It's a 2D host with a single P7 driven by 2x18650 and a HipCC for regulated continuous 2.8A. I made a custom heat sink for the P7 under which the HipCC was potted. I made a Delrin sleeve to hold the cells. A small spring was recessed into the tail cap in place of the stock spring. As you can see I did a checkered pattern on the body and grooved the head. The reflector is a P7 specific reflector from DX which I slightly modified to fit the M@G head. To top it off a UCL window was used . The beam is beautiful and it's bright as all get out. I know he's going to be pleased.
