P7 Nuwai Q3?

Has anybody wondered, with the introduction of AW's new IMR 123 cells, That a P7 Led deserves to be forced into a Q3.

Lots of people must have them lying around, and the reverse clicky switch may handle the 2.8A better then a forward switch, and the deep reflector ( although some reaming required) would be good for reducing the donut hole.

Having never had a Q3 apart, I dont know the internal make up....but some people here must...So is it doable??

the Q3 will have a hard time handling the heat dissipation. I made a few Q3s and even with copper heatsink it bearly can handle an R123 with a Lux III. A P7...might kill it pretty quick.

The body of the Q3 is pretty thin so I don't think it will be an ideal host for a P7.
