P7 Optics

Does anyone know of a vendor who sells optics that either snap on or need to be glued to a P7?

DigiKey electronics stocks Ledil optics for the Cree MCE that may fit the P7. Do a search under "LED lens".

Khatod lists the P7 in its SSC optics lines but I have yet to find an optic other than the "boom reflector" specified for the P7 in any of their products. They list the P4, P5, P7 and P9... anyone seen the P9?

Have not looked at Carlco[sp?] optics yet.

Well before I drop some money on optics that might not fit, does any one else know where to get some optics?

Following up about optics for a P7....

I emailed Ledil and Khatod about P7 compat optics.

Nothing from Khatod.

Ledil planned a P7 optic but never made a P7 specific version other than the Boom reflector....

I've started collecting parts for a P7 M@G so I may buy a few optics just to find out if any produce a decent beam.....

Good luck with your build!

I like the way my P7's are so floody, however unless they are close to whatever I'm doing, their intense brightness is just not there. These don't need to be small or compact optics, as there are only 3, and they are spread out several inches away from each other. I think I may just bite the bullet and buy some of your suggested ones, and hope for the best.
