PayPal \"E-mail confirmation\" slowness.

Has anyone experienced this lately?

I'm describing the step where, after logging in to PP, you are required to validate/confirm your E-mail. They mail a code to the stated address. It's been over 24 hours, and there's no sign of mine.

Cheers.

Are you sure that you have a good pay-pal web site address and not one of the fraud sites (i.e., did not click link on email or 3rd party web site)?

Canuckle, make sure you use this address:
https://www.paypal.com

Then try logging in and see if you still have a problem. Something doesn't sound right.

Re: PayPal \"E-mail confirmation\" slowness.

This sounds like one of dozens of emails I get from paypal, or ebay requesting that I validate my information, or my account will be cancelled. These are fraudulant, and someone is trying to get your information. I would suggest you change your password immediately.

Re: PayPal \"E-mail confirmation\" slowness.

Hi Guys,

Thanks for the warnings. I did not click on an included (spoofed) link but navaigated directly to the PP website at https://www.paypal.com.

As a precaution, my password has been changed.

Thanks.

Re: PayPal \"E-mail confirmation\" slowness.

To keep Paypal from my checking account after I had hit the $1000 limit I established a second checking account with $100, registered it with PP to become verified and from then on only used my cc (maximum liability $50) by selecting "other funding options".
