Peak 1st Responder/Night/Combat patrol review

Candle Power Forums

Help Support Candle Power:

Just FYI: First Responder is now uses a single SSC P7. Saw some in person at Peak a couple of weeks ago.

It's brighter and more compact.

If SSC ever brings a warm white P7 to market, I may have trouble not buying a first responder.

Thanks- did they keep the silver dial on the side of the first responder, or did they update the internal components for a variable level cliky tail?

Yes the potentiometer is still there, the knob is a little smaller, however. You have infinite adjustment from just a few lumens to about 1000.

Clicky tail switch is the same or very similar, I don't remember if it's forward or reverse.

You're welcome LED THRIFT- LL Cool Beans- thanks for the clarification and the real name of what I was calling the silver dial thingy. Have they changed the reflector to match the Night Patrol:popcorn:?

Robyn- any chance for a pic?

The new version uses an optic, but it's not your average lens. It's hard to describe.
