I recently received a Peak momentary switch from Oveready to replace my keychain + split ring on my Logan 17500. When I screw it in the back, it keeps the light constantly on unless I unscrew the head to the point when it is just about to fall out of the front threads (1/16th of an inch turn -- it wobbles it is so insecure). The problem is confined to when I have a 17500 battery in the light; when I have an Eneloop or alkaline primary, it's okay because they are slightly shorter lengthwise. Unfortunately, I use this light with 17500s 95% of the time.
Is there this much individual variation in the length that I need to send it back for a shorter one? Or can I file down the tip of the switch plunger some until it doesn't make contact with the battery so early?
