Peak Mediterranean - LED flickers

After 1 hour and around 20 minutes the LED starts to flicker! Is this normal? :shrug: Or is this thing trying to imitate the Gladius? :laughing:

I´m impressed with beam and throw of the Mediterranean, but after some minutes the flashlight is getting really warm and is not longer comfortable.

I think that's the regulator trying really, really hard to keep the output from dropping.

Arch is right,
My Med will flicker when the regulator gives up on the dying batteries. Mine runs slightly warm although 99% of the time it's using the optional 2AA pack with NiMH batteries. The larger body keeps it nice and cool and two 2500 mAH batteries keep the photons rolling. It runs much, much cooler than my minimag BB500 R2H if that helps.
