Peak Momentary Switch

I've been looking at the Peak site at the momentary switch. Can someone tell me how these work? Is the switch exposed at the end of the light? I'm assuming the lug comes off, the screw is removed and the switch goes in. That would mean that the switch is in fact exposed. Is this how it works?

Exactly as you described, you remove the screw and screw in the switch and it is exposed.
